Russian Twist

For the Russian Twist sit on the ground with knees bent. You can perform this with or without a weighted object. In a smooth motion twist your upper body from left to right and back again.

The key to this exercise is to make sure you are twisting your body at the hips and fully rotating to each side. (No half twists!)

For increased difficulty keep feet raised slightly throughout the movement.
